Server Roles & Progression

Browse the current non-staff player access on Beauty in Blocks, including the Default command set, voting-role unlocks, and Discord-linked progression.

How progression works

Every player starts with the Default role, which covers the core commands and everyday survival tools you need to settle in. Progression then branches into temporary voting roles and permanent Discord-linked roles.

This page only covers non-staff player groups from the current LuckPerms setup. Staff and admin roles are intentionally left off, and each role card below only calls out what changes on top of Default.

Everyone (Default)

How to get: Automatic when you join.

Default is the baseline for every player. Expand a group to browse the shared player commands currently granted to non-staff players.

Higher roles keep the Default commands listed below unless a later permissions change removes them.

Chat & Social19 commands

/afk — Mark yourself as away.
/help — Shows available commands.
/faq — Shows the server FAQ.
/rules — Displays server rules.
/msg — Send a private message.
/reply or /r — Reply to the last private message.
/me — Send an action message in chat.
/ignore — Ignore a player.
/mute — Toggle your chat mute setting.
/helpop — Contact staff.
/list — Show online players.
/motd — Show the server message of the day.
/seen — Check when a player was last seen.
/whois — View player info.
/info — View server or plugin info.
/playtime — View your playtime.
/msgtoggle — Toggle private messages.
/toggleshout — Toggle shout chat.
/rtoggle — Toggle the reply function.

Homes & Teleport12 commands

/home — Teleport to your home.
/sethome — Set your home location.
/delhome — Remove one of your saved homes.
/warp — Teleport to a warp.
/warpinfo — View info about a warp.
/tpa — Request to teleport to a player.
/tpaccept — Accept a teleport request.
/tpahere — Request a player teleport to you.
/tpacancel — Cancel a teleport request.
/tptoggle — Enable or disable teleport requests.
/tpauto — Auto-accept teleport requests.
/suicide — Kill yourself.

Economy, Kits & Utility13 commands

/balance — View your balance.
/worth — Check an item's value.
/kit — Claim available kits.
/kits — Browse your available kits.
/kit starter — Claim the starter kit.
/kit guide — Claim the guide kit.
/kit resources — Claim the resources kit.
/recipe — View a crafting recipe.
/compass — Show your direction.
/depth — Show your Y level.
/disposal — Open a trash inventory.
/hat — Wear an item as your helmet.

/mail — Send in-game mail.
/mail read — Read your mail.
/mail send — Send mail to a player.
/discord — Show Discord info.
/map — Show the map link.
/website — Show the website link.
/vote — Show voting info.

/join — Show join info.
/link — Link your Discord account.
/unlink — Unlink your Discord account.
/linked — Check your linked account.
/bluemap — Show BlueMap help, status, and maps.

Clans3 commands

Clan chat — Talk in your clan chat channel.
Clan create — Create a clan.
Clan invite — Invite a player to your clan.

Voting Roles

Voting helps more players find Beauty in Blocks, and the voting track adds practical utility commands on top of Default. Higher voting roles keep the earlier voting-role commands too, so the cards below show the full access at each step of the track. Use /vote in-game, or click below.

How to get: Vote on all 4 sites in the same day.

Current access: /workbench.

Supporter

How to get: Vote on at least 1 site every day for a full week.

Current access: /workbench, /anvil, and /condense.

Lobbyist

How to get: Place in the top 3 monthly voters.

Current access: /workbench, /anvil, /condense, and /top.

Discord-Linked Progression

Regular, Active, Contributor, and Elite come from linking your Discord account and moving through the linked progression path. These roles are permanent unless you leave the Discord or unlink your account, and only the current extra player access from LuckPerms is listed here.

Join the Discord

Regular

How to get: Link your Discord account.

Current access: No additional commands beyond Default in the current player permissions.

Active

How to get: Progress past Regular on the linked Discord track.

Current access: Chat color codes in server chat.

Contributor

How to get: Progress past Active on the linked Discord track.

Current access: Chat formatting codes plus Active's chat color codes.

Elite

How to get: Reach the top of the linked Discord track.

Current access: No additional commands or chat permissions beyond Contributor in the current player permissions.
