Server Roles & Progression

Browse the current non-staff player access on Beauty in Blocks, including the Default command set, earned progression, and paid supporter tiers.

How progression works

Every player starts with the Default Player role, which covers the core commands and everyday survival tools you need to settle in. Progression then branches into temporary voting roles, Discord-linked roles, and paid supporter tiers.

This page covers the public non-staff player groups from the current permissions setup. Staff and Admin roles are intentionally left off, and each role card below only calls out what changes on top of Default Player.

Everyone (Default Player)

How to get: Automatic when you join.

Default Player is the baseline for every player. Everyone has exactly one saved home, can create or replace it with /sethome, can return to it with /home, can return to spawn with /spawn, and can accept eligible paid-player teleport requests with /tpaccept.

Higher roles keep exactly one home. All teleport commands use a 10-second teleport delay, and moving or taking damage during that delay cancels the teleport.

  • One home — Every player has exactly one saved home.

  • /tpaccept — Accept a teleport request from an eligible paid player.
  • Teleport delay — All teleport commands use a 10-second delay.
  • Cancel rule — Moving or taking damage during the delay cancels the teleport.

Voter

How to get: Vote on all 4 sites in the same day.

  • Current access: /workbench — Open a crafting table from anywhere.

Supporter

How to get: Vote on at least 1 site every day for a full week.

  • Inherits Voter: Keeps /workbench.
  • Current access: /anvil — Open an anvil from anywhere; normal XP and material costs still apply.
  • Current access: /condense — Convert compatible inventory items into block form.

Lobbyist

How to get: Place in the top 3 monthly voters.

  • Inherits Supporter: Keeps /workbench, /anvil, and /condense.
  • Current access: /top — Teleport to the highest safe block above the current location.

Discord-Linked Progression

Member, Active, Contributor, and Executive come from linking your Discord account and moving through the linked progression path. The progression is Default → Member → Active → Contributor → Executive. These roles are permanent unless you leave the Discord or unlink your account, and only the current extra player access is listed here.

Member

How to get: Link your Discord account.

  • Current access: Base Discord-linked membership rank. This replaces the old Regular name.

Active

How to get: Progress past Member on the linked Discord track.

  • Inherits Member: Keeps the base Discord-linked membership rank.
  • Current access: Chat color access.

Contributor

How to get: Progress past Active on the linked Discord track.

  • Inherits Active: Keeps chat color access.
  • Current access: Chat formatting access.

Executive

How to get: Reach the top of the linked Discord track.

  • Inherits Contributor: Keeps chat color and formatting access.
  • Current access: No additional commands or chat permissions beyond Contributor in the current player permissions. This replaces the old earned Elite name.

Paid Supporter Tiers

Paid supporter tiers are a separate temporary subscription track: Patron → Premium → Ultimate → Elite. Paid Elite is the highest supporter tier and is separate from the earned Executive Discord rank.

All supporter packages grant a temporary server role while the subscription is active. They are convenience, community, and customization perks only: no items, currency, XP, extra homes, land claims, protected territory, vote item rewards, vote streak rewards, monthly leaderboard rewards, competitive gameplay advantages, or progress in the voting track.

Every paid tier keeps exactly one home and the universal 10-second teleport delay. Higher paid tiers improve only the listed cooldowns and commands, not the teleport delay.

Patron

Base paid supporter tier.

  • Commands: /workbench, /anvil, /condense, /top, and /itemlore.
  • Community: Supporters-only Discord access and role, plus chat color and formatting.
  • Cooldowns: /home 120 seconds, /spawn 120 seconds, teleport delay 10 seconds.

Premium

Includes everything in Patron.

  • Adds: /enderchest — Open your personal ender chest remotely.
  • Cooldowns: /home 100 seconds, /spawn 100 seconds, /enderchest 120 seconds, teleport delay 10 seconds.

Ultimate

Includes everything in Premium.

  • Adds: /tpa — Request to teleport to another player. The receiving player must accept it.
  • Cooldowns: /home 80 seconds, /spawn 80 seconds, /enderchest 90 seconds, /tpa 300 seconds, applicable teleport delay 10 seconds.

Elite

Includes everything in Ultimate. This is the highest paid supporter tier.

  • Adds: /itemname, /tpahere, /ptime, /pweather, /stonecutter, /grindstone, /loom, /cartographytable, and /smithingtable.
  • Teleport request: /tpahere requests that another player teleport to you. The receiving player must accept it.
  • Cooldowns: /home 60 seconds, /spawn 60 seconds, /enderchest 60 seconds, /tpa 150 seconds, /tpahere 300 seconds, applicable teleport delay 10 seconds.
