Beauty in Blocks Server Rules
These guidelines set the expectations for fair play, respectful conduct, and the kind of survival experience Beauty in Blocks is trying to protect.
Read this before you join
The rules page is here to explain the boundaries that keep Beauty in Blocks fun to explore and fair to share. Because the server allows more freedom than many heavily protected survival servers, it helps to understand the limits before you start building, fighting, or raiding.
If you are new, read through the list once before joining and come back whenever you are unsure how something is handled. It is much easier to ask first than to clean up a situation later.
Community guidelines
-
No Cheats, Exploits, or DupesWe want to keep this a fair and vanilla experience. Cheating will result in a ban. If you accidentally find an exploit, please report it instead of using it.
-
No Lag Machines or Excessive AutomationEveryone likes a smooth, pain-free experience. Please be mindful with redstone, farms, and mob grinders. If something is causing heavy lag, we may ask you to change it or remove it.
-
No Large-Scale GriefingWe want to keep the world beautiful, it's literally in the name. TNT and fire are fine, but keep them contained. Excessive griefing follows the same policy as cheating: one warning, then a ban. If you're unsure whether something is okay, ask in Discord first. We'd rather answer a question than clean up a mess later. Review the clarification photos below for examples of what we consider acceptable and excessive griefing.
-
PvP, Looting, and Griefing are Allowed, Within Reason. Do not destroy for the sake of destructionAll of the above must not be excessive. Griefing and PvP should be for resources. Don't destroy someone's build for no reason. Additionally, trapping the end portals will result in a ban. Hide your valuables! This is different than most servers. We do not have a claim system. Make friends, but be careful who you trust. Check the clarification photos below for concrete examples of okay griefing vs. griefing that will be punished.

Community items can be petitioned to be protected, as rare exceptionsNaturally, spawn is protected as well.
